- Golf course in Altea
The town center of Altea lives all year. The center is tyically Spanish with traditional white properties nestled in tiny streets leading up to the Balcon where you will find some fabulous restaurants, craft shops and the famous church, plus spectacular views. Altea has a shingle beach that runs along most of the resort with 2 marinas and a promenade where you will find some more good restaurants that serve every type of food for every Budget, plus some very ´chic´ boutiques…
Lying behind the town center is the area known as Altea hills. Here settled on the mountainside are villas, houses and apartments often with stunning views and somtimes with matching price tags, although sometimes we can find an attractive bargain there. You do need a car in this area.
Pueblo Muscaret is the most northerly area of Altea. It is for those looking for some peace and tranquillity. There are mostly apartments here with a few townhouses which are situated around the Greenwich Marina, where you can find some nice bars and restaurants. The area is quite hilly and a car is essential.
